Is it Fall Yet?

With these hot summers...I'm kinda (ok...really!!!) ready for fall (my FAVORITE season!). To help get me in the mood, I decided I wanted to make a fall layout for the Scrapping Everyday Miracles next sketch challenge...and the scrap twist we had to include was using a "star" on our layout.

Here's the sketch:

And here's my layout:
I rotated the 3 background pieces from vertical to horizontal and the photos are different sizes.

Yellow paper (We R Memory Keepers from "White Out" collection)
Blue polka dot, green polka dot and orange polka dot patterned paper (My Minds Eye)
Alphas (American Crafts-"Thickers")
Owls and Pumpkins (fussy cut from Bella Blvd "Finally Fall" collection)
Corner Rounder (Hobby Lobby)

  1. This turned out darling! I love how you turned the strips of paper in the background and the way your title goes around the corner of your photo! Oh, and great job creating a fall layout with everyday papers. :)

Another funny coincidence... I just made a layout with this sketch last week. I'll post it on my blog soon. ;)
